Is there any restriction on the libraries we use to create our
simulation? Can we use simulation specific libaries to help manage
the event set and server queues?

Thanks,

There seem to be two questions run together here. Here are the two answers.

1. You can use any language/libraries that are present in the math undergrad
environment, which is a standard restriction.

2. If you find a collection that allows you to avoid writing a simulation, perhaps
by submitting a data file to a third party program, it is likely to have an adverse
affect on your mark.

Just to clarify further, you said in class that statistical algorithms are
difficult to do well and you've supported using statistical packages for our
assignments in the past. If we find a library that helps us with the
assignment's random variables, that won't likely have an adverse affect on
our (assignment) mark, correct?
